BizStart Showcase 2011 Event: A Record Breaking Workshop on Building A Complete Business Website in 3 hours

Yes, a lot may have doubts when they hear of this workshop available during the BizStart Showcase 2011 on 28th September 2011. A 3 hours' workshop on Build a Complete Business Website and by the end of the 3 hours, your website is ready for publish. Sounds incredible or not possible?

We were there to prove that this can be done. Moreover, this was done on top of our favorite CMS platform; Joomla! What surprises us was not the fact that we actually DID it, but it was that our workshop session was over packed, the organizers had to blocked people from entering the room. Rough count, we had about 80-90 people interested to learn and work on this record with us.

The participants were from different range of age and background. Some were advanced computer user and others only have very basic skills. What they have in common was the passion to learn and the want to create their very own business website. Many were not aware that they would need a laptop for this workshop but they stayed throughout the session with us.

A few of my colleagues were present to assist those who faced problems during the session. I was anxious to see if 3 hours were enough for these users who had never come across online editor or CMS or even Joomla complete a website! This was crazy and my adrenaline was pumping heavily when only 30 minutes left before the clock struck.

And we did it and even have 15 minutes left which was used to share tips and tricks to the users! It was satisfying and a moment we will never forget. This achievement is like World Guiness Record for us. We are also very happy that, on this 28th day of September at least 80 people know about Juzit and Joomla. We were thankful to the organizers for their well arrangement and the participants for working this with us.
